Gate 19 Wanting Human Design

Gate 19 in your Human Design chart is all about wanting. This gate helps you to feel what others need before they can, it’s the reason you are probably a super sensitive person. It’s also possible that you feel a special connection with plants and animals.

Gate Nineteen

A person with gate 19, the gate of wanting, feels the pressure to be sensitive to basic needs. The not self talk of gate nineteen sounds like: “I am too needy”. However, your strength is sensitivity paired with the drive to provide.

Having an awareness of your sensitivity allows you to avoid becoming hypersensitized or desensitized. It also helps you understand how to create balance between independency, co-dependency and interdependency. With this in balance, your potential superpower is the ability to energetically connect with the spiritual and natural realms.

With this gate dormant, all of the above still applies. You'll just find that the energy comes and goes intermittently. When this gate is active, you have consistent and reliable access.
