Have you ever wrapped yourself in a staticy blanket freshly pulled from the dryer on a cold day?
This is the energy and aura of a Generator - sparkly, warm and enveloping. They make others feel nurtured and cared for. They excite you so much your hair stands on its' ends. Generators energize and empower.
They stick to you. They help your life run with more comfort and ease.
Generators must feel and be the spark of life force energy. Generators lift the energy of the entire planet.
Now, what happens when you take that same fluffy, warm blanket and put it in water? It becomes cold, heavy, and draining. This is the energy present when Generators are not lit up by their work. That sparkly and enveloping energy and life force drains from their body.
They have nothing to give - not even for themselves.

Sacral Response
This is the reason Generators must enter into all important commitments through response. They need to ask their bodies (specifically the sacral energy center) “yes” or “no” questions to find out what is best for them.
When Generators enter into commitments through sacral response, it is the sacral that continues to provide energy to bring those commitments to completion. Generators who spend too much time in their head processing unlimited options, become disconnected from their sacral responses thus feeling confused and drained.
As a Generator, your most important embodiment practice and way to make aligned decisions is listening to the gut response in as many situations as possible.
If it lights you up, go for it. If it dims your light, pass on it.
Generator Strategy
As a Generator, you are able to rely on the consistent response of your defined sacral center. The sacral is a motor center, not an awareness center - it doesn't "think", it responds. Your life experience is constantly presenting the sacral with things to respond to. Your work as a Generator is to become familiar with the way the sacral communicates and differentiate that language from the thoughts driven by the mind.
If what you're seeking is a feeling of satisfaction, it is important to identify exactly what you want and how you want it. When your desires are clear, and the sacral responds, it can tell you whether you receive is satisfactory or frustrating.
Tips for learning and speaking the language of the sacral:
Start small - check in with your body on seemingly insignificant decisions: Which of these 2 outfits is lighting me up more today? Do I want pizza or sushi for dinner? Am I excited about what I'm about to do next?
As often as possible ask closed ended yes/no questions or provide only 2 options to respond to.
Seek out feelings of satisfaction and identify what frustrates you.
