Who is Ra Uru Hu?

Ra Uru Hu, born Robert Allan Krakower, was a spiritual teacher and the founder of the Human Design System. Born in Montreal, Canada in 1948, he had a passion for music and became a professional musician, playing in various bands throughout his youth. However, after a spiritual awakening experience in Ibiza, Spain, he embarked on a lifelong quest for knowledge and understanding of the universe and its workings.

In the early 1980s, Ra Uru Hu was living in Ibiza, Spain, when he experienced a powerful inner transformation that would ultimately lead to the creation of the Human Design System. This experience, which he described as an 8 day visit with a "voice" that spoke to him, set him on a new path of spiritual discovery and led him to explore the teachings of the I Ching, astrology, and other mystical systems.

Over the next several years, Ra Uru Hu worked to synthesize his knowledge of these systems and develop a new approach to human self-understanding. This led to the creation of Human Design, a new system that combines elements of the I Ching, Western Astrology, the Kabbalah, and the Hindu Brahmin Chakra System to provide a unique approach to self-discovery and spiritual growth.

The Human Design System is based on the premise that each person has a unique "design" that reflects their individuality and life purpose. This design is determined by the positions of the planets and other celestial bodies at the moment of a person's birth, and it provides a blueprint for understanding their strengths, weaknesses, and potential for growth.

One of the key components of the Human Design System is the BodyGraph, a diagram that maps out the different energy centers in the body and how they relate to different aspects of a person's life. This diagram can be used to identify areas of strength and potential challenges, and to guide individuals in making decisions that are in alignment with their unique design.

The Human Design System has gained a following among spiritual seekers and those interested in personal growth and self-discovery. It has been praised for its accuracy and depth of insight, and its teachings have been used to help people understand their strengths and weaknesses, navigate their relationships, and find greater fulfillment in their lives.

Ra Uru Hu passed away in 2011, but his legacy lives on through the Human Design System and the many people who have been touched by his teachings. Today, Human Design continues to be a source of inspiration and guidance for those seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them, and it remains a powerful tool for spiritual growth and self-discovery.
