Valleys Environment in Human Design

Your Environment in Human Design will tell you about your most aligned place to live, work, or relax. In Human Design, there are six different types of environments: caves, kitchens, markets, mountains, shores and valleys.

You can check your environment in the chart properties under the section that says ‘Environment’.

Here is what you need to know if your environment in Human Design is Valleys.

Valleys

With the environment of valleys, you're designed to be in places where you can observe movement, have access to the outside world, but still feel very protected. If you think of a literal valley, it is protected by mountains and has a river running through. With the environment of valleys, you may find that you're curiously attracted to people of other cultures. This is because valleys are where trade happened as boats passed through from far off places.

Bring your Environment Home

You can recreate this type of environment in your home by creating a space for yourself on the ground floor where you can do some people watching. You may even enjoy hanging out in the front yard or on the porch. The most important is that you can observe movement and the outside world.

🡺 - If your bottom left arrow points right, this is a place where you go for relaxation.

🡸 - And if your bottom left arrow points left, this is a place that's most aligned with being active.
